Other than the development of medical equipment and supplies, technology plays a huge part in the efficient delivery of medical supplies in the 21st Century?
With the ongoing pandemic, we have seen the demand of medical supplies increasing in rural areas that do not have convenient access to healthcare. But fret not as Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), or better known as drones, have been deployed to deliver supplies to communities living in these areas.
With success implementation of UAS-delivered medical supplies in remote areas of Rwanda and Ghana, who knows if this mode of delivery can be made available in highly dense cities in the near future?
