Does it come assembled? If not, is it difficult to put together?

The shower chair is tool-free assembly. It does not come assembled but it is very easy to put together.

Is the height of the chair adjustable?

Absolutely!

What is the shower chair's weight capacity?

The weight limit is 250 pounds, however, we've found that the chair has been capable of supporting up to 300 pounds.

Will this chair fit inside a standard tub with shower curtain?

Yes. It will fit.

How high can the seat be adjusted off the ground?

The seat height can be adjusted from about 16"-21".

The video above is an instructional assembly video that will assist in properly putting together your Vaunn Medical Deluxe Shower Chair Assembly. This product is ideal for those who have mobility issues or for the elderly. Using this product will ensure a comfortable showering experience while being seated comfortably. Upon opening the package that contains the product, you will receive a number of items that will be used in the assembly process. You will receive the following components:

1x Leg Section with Concave Bottom

1x Leg Section with Concave Top

1x Shower Seat

1x Back Support

2x L-Shaped Frame

2x Arm Rests

4x Leg Extensions

4x Long Screw Knobs

5x Short Screw Knobs

9x Washers

Step 1: Place the Leg Section with Concave Bottom onto the groove of the underneath the Shower Seat.

Step 2: Place the Leg Section with Concave Top over the leg section from the previous step. Please note that the concave should be facing downwards.

Step 3: Insert 1 Washer and 1 Short Screw into the center hole of the Leg Sections from the previous steps. Twist the handle of the Short Screw, but do not fully tighten.

Step 4: Ensure that the slight depressions on the Shower Seat are on the opposite side of where the Back Support will be placed. Align each hole of the Leg Sections with the L-Shaped Frames that will be placed on top of them. Insert 4 Washers and 4 Long Screws into each hole on both Leg Sections. Twist and tighten each knob.

Step 5: Insert each Leg Extension onto each Leg Section. Ensure that each Leg Extension is properly aligned with the gold pin on the Leg Sections. Adjust to your desired height.

Step 6: Attach the Back Support to the exposed L-Shaped Frame. Align the holes on both parts with each other. Insert 4 Washers and 4 Short Screws into each hole of this section. Twist and turn to tighten.

Step 7: Insert each Arm Rest into each side of the chair. There should be 2 inserts on each side where the Arm Rests should fit into. Push the pin down on the Arm Rests and insert.

Step 8: Adjust to your desired height using the handle on the side.

The ad in Amazon states 350 lb weight limit and the paperwork and instructions state max weight is 250 lbs. This is false advertising. Do I send it back or use it, just got it today and put it together.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8-13-2022

Incorrect parts

Arms for seat did not fit. They were too short to reach the leg.

Does the job and fair price

While it takes up a fair amount of room in a small tub/shower, it also provides the stability I need. It is sturdy and as advertised. It was packed properly and delivered on time and does the job. I recommend it. Thank you.

Great for disabled mom

Bought this for my elderly disabled mother, and it seems to work fine for her.
